Gefyra pursues its commitment to daily users with private cars with a new pass with discount program for daily users

• New monthly cost for 44 crossings €9,66 cheaper compared to 2022 prices and €53 cheaper than using the ferry
• Refund of any additional costs for the period January – March 2023 to subscribers of the new pass.

As a company that has always been committed to supporting the mobility of regional residents, GEFYRA S.A. announces today the launch of a new discount product for category 2 passenger vehicles, aimed at commuters who use the Bridge between 17 to 25 days per month.

For 44 trips, subscribers will be billed on a monthly basis €9.66 less than last year. The new discount program will be made available as of April 1, 2023. To the subscribers who will choose to sign up for the new discount program, GEFYRA SA. will refund the difference that may arise between the costs incurred from 1 January to 31 March 2023 using the "GEFYRA e-Pass" program and the costs they would have incurred with the new program for the same period and number of crossings. The relevant details will be communicated in the coming weeks.

With this new initiative, that allows to maintain very substantial commercial discounts to everyday users, Gefyra continues its commitment towards local mobility in Greece, and keeps providing the highest level of discounts among all motorways in the country. GEFYRA. confirms once again, even in the new changing environment, its commitment to find solutions specifically adapted to the needs of the frequent drivers.

Details about the program (eργασίαpass)

GEFYRA will develop the new program in the coming weeks, with the goal that the ergasiapass will be available to the interested users from April 1, 2023 with the subscription period beginning within March.

 The company will then have three (3) discount programs intended for private cars (category 2):

1. Gefyra E-Pass for frequent users (referred to below as “Gefyra E-Pass 2023”), advantageous for users crossing the Bridge more than two times per month;
    
2. “Aller Retour” e-Pass which offers a 7€ discount per crossing, if two crossings are made within less than 4 hours;
    
3. “ergasiapass” focused on daily commuters who use the Bridge in average 22 days per month:

• Providing cheaper crossings compared to the "GEFYRA E-Pass" program, for those who make between 34 and 51 crossings per month.
• If the subscriber makes 42 to 45 crossings per month, the total cost of crossings will be lower than in 2022 (€9.66 for 44 crossings)

• It is cheaper than the cost of the ferry for 36 to 51 crossings per month. For a total number of 44 crossings on a monthly basis, it is cheaper than the ferry by €53.10€
