The Rio-Antirrio Bridge, a subsidiary of VINCI Highways, has launched the new version of the MyGefyra application for mobile devices, with a variety of new features aimed at improving functionality and user experience.
The new version, in addition to its redesigned environment for a smoother and more pleasant navigation, also includes new services such as the history of reloads and crossings, the ability to search between products or accounts with the use of filters, simplified reload process with the use of a debit or a credit card, and ability to login using biometrics features.
In addition, , the users of the application are able to receive automatic notifications when their account balance is low so that they can reload in time and not face any issues during their travel, as well as real-time updates related to the traffic conditions on the bridge, for better planning their journey.
The new version of MyGefyra app is already available for download on Google Play (Android devices) and App Store (iOS devices).
The renewed application is another step to provide improved services to the subscribers of the bridge’s E-pass discount programs, especially during the summer season when the volume of traffic is particularly high due to the summer holidays.
To accommodate the expected increased number of vehicles this summer, the Rio - Antirrio Bridge has also strengthened its operational capabilities, with more staff available at the toll plaza in combination with the increased availability of the electronic lanes.
Delivering positive mobility experience is part of the Bridge’s initiatives to promote and enhance tourism in Western Greece. As the only road link between the Greek mainland and the Peloponnese, the Rio-Antirrio Bridge contributes to the sustainable economic development of the Region. Since opening to service in 2004, the bridge has welcomed more than 77M vehicles.
